Please note that you must have copyrights in the material you have published in the event calendar, such as text, photos and videos. The event calendar includes copyrighted material such as text, images and photos, sound, music, etc. This material is protected in Finland and internationally by copyright and other intellectual property rights. The rights to the material belong to the Regional Council of South Ostrobothnia and to the event publishers, and no others may use the material without the special consent of the Regional Council of South Ostrobothnia or the event publishers.

Event form works in all web browsers

The event entry form opening in the “Add your event” section works on all commonly used Internet browsers.

By registering you can edit

You do not have to register for the service, but by signing up you can use the given username and password to modify your own events afterwards.

Obligatory fields of the form

There are some compulsory items that must be filled in the event entry form. These include, for example, event name and description, location and pricing. The event must also belong to one of the available event categories. The event may fall into several categories. An image is also mandatory.

Check the location information

Please check that the location information you enter, that is, the address of the event location, is correct both in the text that you typed and in the location displayed on the map.

Links to other websites

We recommend that you carefully mark your own website and social media channels on the event entry form. This will help the audience find more information about your event if needed.

Use only one #hashtag

If you have an Instagram account, or if you want images that are tagged with a particular hashtag appear on the event page, we recommend that you add your hashtag in the event entry form. Based on the used hashtag, we can search for images published in Instagram on the calendar event page.

Images are mandatory

All events must include a photo. The image should be related in some way to your event or reflect the nature of your event. You can use your own, good quality images or images available in the event entry form. The allowed file types are jpg and jpeg. Image dimensions have to be at least 1140 x 400 pixels. The maximum file size is 2 MB. Images with no text work best.
